کنار هم وسایل ترشی را خرد کردیم، همزمان بادمجان‌ها در سرکه جوشید، سینی چای و بیسکویت روی میز حاضر شد و ما بازهم کلم و هویج و فلفل و کرفس و دیگر سبزیجاتی که به یاد نمیاورم را خرد کردیم و خندیدیم و باز هم خرد کردیم cauliflowers, cabbage, carrot and celery whilst surrounded by the aroma of freshly chopped parsley, dill and spices. Aubergines boiled in vinegar and the sound of laughter and music that most of us sang to filled the room whilst we had our tea together.
